Racism for Power and Hypocrisy

--Leslie <;)))><

I try to avoid quoting other writers in my blog (I mean, this is supposed to show off my writing, you know),  but every now and again I come across something I've just got to pass on -- like this piece by Roger Simon.  He's had so many of the same experiences and observations I have that it's like watching a home movie.  As the political mud-slinging in the media grows to a frenzied pitch with the approach of the mid-term election, it helps to see a head-clearing statement like this one.  Though written more than three years ago, it's absolutely applicable today.

"Ninety percent of the racism in America today comes from the Democratic Party and the Left.  They live off it and exploit it.  It is unconscionable to the degree they do this, ruining the lives and futures of the very people they say they are helping in the process.
"I am uniquely positioned to say this because I spent most of my life on the Left and was a civil rights worker in the South in my early twenties. I was also, to my everlasting regret, a donor to the Black Panther Party in the seventies.

"So I have seen this personally from both sides and my conclusion is inescapable.  The Left is far, far worse. They are obsessed with race in a manner that does not allow them to see straight.  Further, they project racism onto others continually, exacerbating situations, which in most instances weren't even there in the first place.  From Al Sharpton to Hillary Clinton, they all do it.

"Barack Obama is one of the worst offenders in this regard.  Recently, in reaction to the horrid actions of the deranged, but solitary racist Dylann Root, the president claimed racism is in our DNA.

"How could he possibly utter such nonsense and who was he talking about?  The majority of Americans are from families that came to this country after slavery existed.  Many of those were escaping oppression of their own.  In my case my family was fleeing  the pogroms of Eastern Europe.  Many of the members of my family who stayed behind ended up gassed in Auschwitz or exterminated in Treblinka.

"Is Obama telling me that racism is in my DNA?  What a wretched and insulting statement.  If he means that, he should tell it to me face-to-face.  If he does, I will tell him what I think.  The racial situation in this country has gotten decidedly worse since he took office.  And he is a great deal to blame.  Ever since the beer summit it was obvious he was disingenuous and harmful on the subject of race, seeking to stir the pot when it was actually empty or nearly.

"His claim that if he had had a son he would look like Travyon Martin was ridiculous and self-serving in the extreme.  Barack Obama is a product of the fanciest private school in Hawaii and his children go to Sidwell Friends, the fanciest school in D. C.  He takes vacations on Oahu and his wife parties in Switzerland. He had as much in common with Trayvon as I do with the queen of Spain.

Aye, if you look back in the past it starts to make sense really though.

In the 1800s, it was the democratic party that where predominate in the slave owning states.
Early 1900s, it was the democratic party that started up the KKK. Heck the original goal of the KKK was to destroy the republican party. In the year 1924 they were very openly democrat. However for some reason, despite the fact that many major members of it being democrats for whatever reason people call it a 'far-right' organization.
In the 1950s you had the longest filibuster lead by democrats once again to block the civil rights acts.

These are some of the big ones I've seen out there. The democrats though will commonly explain it away as "Oh the parties switched." explaining all the good stuff the republicans did was actually the democrats. And all the bad stuff the democrats did was actually republicans.

Most can't say when it happen, those who do guess around Nixon's time or some say earlier. Course when you look at most of the big political players of the time almost none switch such as Democrat Robert Byrd, a known kkk member with known ties to Hillary Clinton. He was forgiven though when he said he was sorry about being a KKK member.

The exception to this, the only person I've been able to find is Storm Thurman, who switched from Democrat to republican. Its important to note he though was a big player in the 1950s fillibuster, as he is on record for the longest one, going for nearly 24 hours.

There are some people who say he too apologized. There are others who say he didn't. Either way a single man does not a party switch create. Especially when you notice a few flags beyond that no one else change. Namely, is if the switch happened around the time of Nixon, (We'll just assume it happened before nixon came into office and somehow got the memo early on that the parties where about to switch) then that would mean the two democrat hereos FDR and JFK were really republicans. Course they wouldn't want that. So you begin to see some that will try to pick and choose, which leaves them trying to take credit for anything good and push anything bad onto the republicans.

This behavior is even visible in current day, particularly during Obama's era. Economy doing bad? Bushs fault. Economy doing good? Obama's fault. Even in Trump's Era, Economy doing bad? Trump's Fault. Economy doing good? Obama's fault. Capturing of Osama Bin Laden? Obama. Ending Korean War? Obama. Stopping Isis? Obama. Putting kids in buildings with chain link fences in them back in 2015? Trump.

As far as projection goes, they get so bad that when Trump and Kanye are meeting to talk about things like Chicago, CNN runs with things like "Trump looks like he is thinking racist thoughts." or "Kanye is what happens when N****s don't read."

And it looks like its going to get even worse too.

I've seen the Dems and their rich colleagues pull off some some exceedingly complex and clever campaigns -- like the whole Chartlottesville caper -- and I can't see how they could descend to the amazingly stupid racist crap they're doing now. Indeed, how have the mighty fallen!

I think it would be the Big Damn Hero Complex. Basically a condition where the fall into a circular logic loop of "I do good because I'm a hero, and I'm a hero because I do good" where they begin to believe each and every action they do is unquestionably good and does nothing but good things. Because of this, it means that anything that attempts to stop them from doing their "unquestionably good" actions are just evil.

As a result they become blind to the damage they do, as their overlords keep telling them what good people they are, and they can't break out of this cycle.

Speaking of Chartottesville, I get the feeling that the democrats want another one of those. Now I've heard mixed things about the car crash and death, there are some people out there that say it wasn't anyone who was actually involved in the crash that died, but someone else nearby who died of a heart attack.

There was the latest events in Portland Oregon where Antifa began redirecting traffic as part of their protest. The cops sat nearby just watching.

Now 1) if it was a legit protest - The Cops should have been around to redirect traffic instead of the taco eaters. 2) if it was a non-legit protest - the cops should have been around to stop the protest. However neither happened. Weird.

That's another similarity between the Charlottesville Caper and the brawl in Portland. In both cases, the cops were *told* to stand down and let the two factions duke it out.

If the "conservatives" want to show up the Antifa/BLM louts for the thugs they are, it would make sense to declare a "demonstration", hype it in the media, and then not show up -- but encourage the Antifa/BLM to do their usual thing. This would leave no one present but the cops and the A/Bs, and I really doubt that the A/Bs could resist causing trouble. That would leave the cops with no choice but to go after the A/Bs. Have plenty of cameras handy.

Right. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to learn that the Portland Brawl was something constructed specifically to use BLM/Antifa as sacrificial pawns. Like get them in there, have them disrupt things until someone freaks out on the non-protester side. Doesn't have to be any conservative group, just anyone who isn't a BLM/Antifa.

One of the things the news loves to do to demonize gun owners is conflate Unarmed with Harmless. There is a lot of damage though an unarmed person can do when they are in reach of someone else. Went to school with two kids, one kinda nerdy and the other the larger muscle bound builds. The Nerd did something to the big kid, who decked the nerd breaking his jaw. I've watched videos of someone breaking another persons back. There is MMA things were people are tearing each other apart with their bare hands.

So I imagine a situation that the media would absolutely love. Someone, no older than Nineteen, preferably black, from Antifa getting killed by an older preferably white, male in self defense with a conceal carry weapon. Bonus points if the older male was also a card carrying NRA republican.

The media would have a field day with that. The reports would be something like "Black Teenager Slain by White NRA republican with a conceal carry weapon"
IF they could get the mother involved in it "Mother of son slain by white NRA member speaks out."

It doesn't matter to them how much damage was actually dealt or could be dealt to the gun owner by the antifa to the media. They will only show it once, if even that, during a time when no one really watches anyways. The MSM would show clips of the peaceful protesters, and only show a fast edit clip of the shooting cutting out the opening or zooming in really deep like the did with the Koi video.

The only real counter against it, Like you said, would be to have a large number of cameras out there and get the video out and spread faster than the MSM can cover it up. Its part of why Antifa like the guy who roundhouse kicked the woman, look for people carrying cameras and try to attack them making sure to destroy the camera. If the talky heads on TV really cared about journalists and their safety they'd be most concerned with these more independent investigators out there actually being attacked for trying to record what is really going on.

Hmmm, so the solution is to carry a concealed or disguised camera, or have everybody use the video-function of their cell-phones. I mean, everybody has a cell-phone.

Best weapon against Antifaa bullies is a small CO2 fire-extinguisher. They can't make it illegal, and since the Antifas have been known to throw firebombs, anyone going anywhere near them has a good excuse to carry extinguishers.
